The uncanny metamorphosis of Drake in the 'Energy' video

Dear fans of Drake,

Nothing seems to stall the OVO head honcho's momentumDrizzy can't even stop himself from venturing outside his body to convert into other forms of human life. As the song goes, he's "got a lot of enemies," ...so (symbolically) morphing into another person should keep the haters off his back for now.

Although known to be a versatile guy, dropping everything from emotional R&B melodies to hard-hitting Hip-Hop anthems, it's something unexpected to see the physical transformations Drake goes through in the visuals to his recent video for 'Energy' from the If You're Reading This It's Too Late mixtape/album.

Watch Drake transform into famous people in the 'Energy' video clip below:

In the video, released two days ago on VEVO, the former Degrassi star transforms into his own proper version of Oprah Winfrey, OJ Simpson, Miley Cyrus, President Obama, Floyd Mayweather, Justin Bieber, Kanye West, and has a nostalgic moment of himself as a young boy.

As Drake has become so legendary in Hip-Hop over the past years, some viewers have pointed out that they believe the visuals to be comparisons that joke and banter at other relevant music and culture revolutionaries of this generation, and that these may well be the "enemies" (cultural competition) Drake refers to on the hook:

As unexpecting as certain moments of the video may seem, Drake usually derives his content from deeper thought and hidden meanings in the music, which means that watching the video more than 1x will help to achieve a better understanding.

Meanwhile, be prepared for the "energy" to come as the release of Drake's highly anticipated Views From The 6 album approaches, expected to drop sometime later this year.
