'1 Train' is a heavily old-school influenced hip-hop record with simplistic, made-from-scratch music production, which effectively highlights and celebrates each respective artist's individual style, all of which have created some type of buzz for themselves this year.
A$AP, Joey Bada$$, and Action Bronson lay down New York-centric vocals on the track, while Kendrick adds a Californication spin to the mix. Danny Brown brings his Michigan state of mind, while Big K.R.I.T and YelaWolf resonate the Dirty South type flow, respectively representing Mississippi and Alabama in their raps.
