Young Thug & Rich Homie Quan Pay Homage To Oprah In 'Color Purple'

Just how many lean or syrup-sipping references can a rapper boast in a song these days!? If the sky's the limit, then Atlanta rappers Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug clearly have NONE, especially in their latest duet 'Color Purple', inspired by none other than Oprah Winfrey and her unforgettable appearance in The Color Purple.

Lyric teaser: "Oprah Winfrey bring me that purple":

Seems like Thugger and Quan wanted more out of this collaboration, so much that they recruited routine producer Metro Boomin (@MetroBoomin) who always want some more.

As the two serenade in a melodic duet throughout the chorus, the beat plays over to both confessing their feelings about the 'Color Purple', each giving a nod to Oprah between each verse (in a lean-sipping, stoner sort of way).

Neither are strangers to collaborating, as we got from 'Lifestyle', and Young Thug is set to release an upcoming collaboration mixtape with Migos, titled MigosThuggin'. Let's see if the hype can match up to peers Drake and Future's joint mixtape What A Time To Be Alive.
