Azealia Banks can't compete with Iggy Azalea's success, 'Work', & 'Change Your Life'

[via]

Little by little, it seems like the once relevant female rapper Azealia Banks is slowly fading out and sliding down the ranks of relevancy in the music industry. Girl does have talent, which is clear (especially in her hit song '212')—if only she could channel it into other gigs besides being a monstrous internet troublemaker and all-around bully.

Although perhaps difficult to maneuver, rapper/rival Iggy Azalea's recent rise to success with 'Work', 'Bounce', and 'Change Your Life' ft. T.I., in addition to an MTV VMA nomination, is a lesson Banks could take a few notes on in saving her own artistry.

Even though she was once the hot topic of conversation, it's been mostly Azealia's perpetual beefs with other artists/celebrities (Perez Hilton, Kreayshawn, Nicki Minaj, etc.) and hardly her musical content that kept her relevant this past year. Awhile back, she particularly called out Iggy on a "racist" freestyle lyric, and for winning XXL Mag's 2012 Freshman cover

Firstly, Iggy's been dominating the internet since her first mixtape, Ignorant Art. Viral videos like 'Pu$$y' and 'My World', a co-sign from king of the South, T.I., status as a Wilhelmina model, and a spot on XXL Mag's 2012 Freshman cover are all major accomplishments to Iggy's resume. In the meanwhile, either Banks hasn't progressed much musically since "212", or audiences haven't been  too receptive of the content.

Also, Iggy Azalea is the artist to look out for being a tall, sexy Australian blonde woman rapping hard flows to captivate the millions. The 'Work' and 'Bounce' singles have been well-received and even landed her an Artist to Watch nomination at this year's MTV Video Music Awards. Should Iggy take home the coveted Moonman, Banks has no choice but to bury the hatchet. Vote here (until 8/25)!

A co-sign from Queen Bey and there you have another win. Permanently. Iggy and BeyoncĂ© already announced that they'll be touring together later this year in Australia and New Zealand.

The title of Iggy's recently released third single, "Change Your Life" ft. T.I., is clearly ironic. Putting in work, delivering cutting-edge records that are projecting her to the forefront, and basically serving as karma to that smack talk, Iggy Azalea has—in the nicest way possible—truly changed Azealia Banks' life (i.e. music career)!
