Snow Tha Product, Iggy Azalea, Brooke Candy, Azealia Banks, Honey Cocaine: 2013's 5 Femcees On Top

Girl power and p*ssy popping rule these days since, arguably, today's female rappers in the game are going harder than their male counterparts. Listed are the reasons why notable femcees Snow Tha Product, Iggy Azalea, Brooke Candy, Azealia Banks, and Honey Cocaine are the top 5 projected rappers of 2013:

1) Snow Tha Product

Hailing from California, latina rapper Snow Tha Product set a trend with her mixtapes, cover songs, and notable viral hits "Holy Shit" and "Drunk Love". Snow also coins herself Snow White the Product, along with other surnames, and carries the slogan "WOKE" or "WAKEYAGAMEUP". Using a 'rapid-fire' style of rapping has projected Snow Tha Product for major releases in 2013, including a debut studio album.

2) Iggy Azalea

Rising to prominence in the hip-hop community with her viral hits "Pu$$y" and "My World", which were released in mid to late 2011, Iggy Azalea paved a way for herself in the rap business with her high-enery flow and unique look/brand. Shortly after, Azalea was scouted by Grand Hustle's own, T.I., and became the first female to land a spot on  the cover of XXL Magazine's 2012 Freshman Class.   It is rumored that she had relations with Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky, but neither party has completely confirmed the rumor. Azalea is projected to release a highly-anticipated debut album, The New Classic, in the latter-quarter of 2013.

3) Brooke Candy

The age of Tumblr and the new wave of female rappers most likely inspired  the eccentricities of stripper-turned-rapper Brooke Candy. Best known for her appearance in the experimental musician Grimes' video for "Genesis" and her own hits "Das Me" and "Everybody Does", the Queen of Italy (Candy's surname) is projected to cause quite the stir in 2013 and has even promised the arrival of a Freaky Prince$$ mixtape later in the year.

4) Azealia Banks

2012 birthed a very provocative new artist: Azealia Banks. Well-known for her viral hits "212" and "Liquorice", Banks rose to rap prominence due to her futuristic style and projectile flow delivery. Banks has also gained notoriety from having participated in a string of beefs and Twitter rants with other notable celebrities such as Jim Jones, Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea, and Kreayshawn just to name a few. It's no doubt that Banks futuristic music style and indifference to beef has projected her into rap spotlight, but through it all she is preparing for her first studio album Broke With Expensive Taste, expected to release February 12, 2013.

5) Honey Cocaine

Most notably known for her affiliation as protege of YMCMB rapper Tyga, Honey Cocaine brings an edge to the face of rap by using her soft/innocent looks in sharp contrast with her cutthroat lyrics, which are projected to furnish her a productive 2013. Recent breaking news regarding Cocaine surfaced, allegedly claiming that she was a contributing factor to her ex-boyfriend Freddy E's suicide.
