You may recall the California-bred artist Big Sean from his hit singles, "Marvin & Chardonnay" and "A$$", which featured hip-hop heavyweights Kanye West, Roscoe Dash, and Nicki Minaj - well, the Def Jam rapper took home the award for Best New Artist at the 2012 BET Awards.
